My name is Heather Matthews, and I am a transformational speaker, life coach, and an expert on energy flow.
I spent years of my life chasing the carrot of more money and more time all because I believed that if I just worked hard enough, I’d eventually get there…
Yet all I needed was one simple secret technique that turned everything around for me… the secret that allowed me to get more, while doing less – the secret behind “The Secret”.
Plain and simple and as crazy as it sounds, the only way to quit struggling and instead start feeding endless cash and abundance into your life like an ATM machine on hyper-speed… is by giving up on hard work and forcing the Universe to give you everything you’ve ever wished for.
So, how do you do that?
It’s surprisingly easy to get started. You just need to follow these 10 Super Simple Steps to Attract Everything You’ve Ever Wanted:
Step #7: Give yourself permission to succeed
It all clicked for my friend Samantha not long ago while attending a personal success and wealth building seminar. “All this time I never fully understood why I would experience one business failure after another. Now I finally understand why.” she stated in a rather enlightened way.
Sammi is a bright woman. She has all the “right stuff” one would expect of a successful person. She has a great education with an MBA in marketing. Her father is a successful real estate developer. Her mother – a successful surgeon. She has some great role models in her life with lots of support and guidance along the way. So what was Sammi’s problem?
After speaking with Sammi for a while, it became obvious what was going on; Samantha always associated her success with the success of those closest to her – her parents. She had never quite given herself permission to success on her own terms. Just as her business would start doing well, she would subconsciously pull back and essentially sabotage herself. She never felt worthy of the success that she had experienced. Obviously Samantha’s emotional guidance system needed some fixing to get her back on course.
How many times have you or someone you know been on the verge of success or actually succeeding at something only to find success slipping away or come crashing down? At first it’s natural to place blame elsewhere; after all, “it can’t be me”, right?
Some explanations might be:
Not smart enough.
Not enough money.
Not experienced enough.
On and on the list goes…
Eventually, you come to realize that they amount to nothing more than excuses and that life begins and ends with you!
According to Henry Ford, “If you think you can or you can’t you’re right.”
Many of the world’s most successful people were put down in some way.
Somewhere along the way, someone told them they’d “never make it” or were “destined to fail.”
Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz has said that even his own business partners didn’t think Americans would pay for lattes and cappuccinos.
Richard Branson has recounted that very few people believed Virgin Atlantic would succeed against entrenched competition.
Teach for America founder Wendy Kopp said most people thought her goal “to reduce educational inequities” was nothing more than the pipe dream of a naïve Princeton student.
Build-A-Bear founder Maxine Clark recalls that most people thought her idea to create a store where kids could build their own bears was “crazy.”
In your own life, people may have tried to discourage you in some way either as a child or as recently as last week.
In any case, it doesn’t matter.
What’s important is that you understand that NO ONE can put a label on you.
And more importantly, they can NEVER give you permission to achieve what you want in life. You need to do that for yourself.
Don’t let their words define your story. You don’t have to fit whatever petty narrative they’re trying to force on you.
Your success in life essentially boils down to a belief in yourself. Initially your beliefs started out as thoughts. Those thoughts, when they became focused and repeated often enough, eventually formed your beliefs. The beliefs that you formulate and internalize through your thoughts and actions either take you closer to or further from the success you seek. You literally end up thinking your way to success or failure through the beliefs you form over time. Consequently, you manifest your reality through your beliefs!
The Law of Attraction is the primary universal principle which draws to you those events that closely match your current vibrational frequency. If you hold the belief that you will be successful and irrevocably and unequivocally continue holding to that belief, you can’t help but be successful. On the other hand, if your beliefs are such that you continually doubt yourself or have very little to no confidence in your abilities, then you will manifest a reality that aligns itself with that vibrational frequency.
By controlling your thoughts, you determine your reality and ultimately the success and happiness (or lack thereof) in your life. The choice, of course, always has been and always will be yours and yours alone. It’s never to late to give yourself permission to be happy, successful, and prosperous.
Here’s to your continued success!
